Call Of Duty 4

I'm having trouble finding the VOGON COD4 servers so I can play on them. I can't find them in the online search list in the MP game?, and yes I bought the game so I know the game key will work online. Can someone explain to me about the COD4 servers on VOGON....?

If you go to vogon.vg you can see the IP and Port of the COD servers, all are up and running. However they are HUGELY popular, if the one you try to connect to is full, you will get a message saying something along the lines of "server is full"

BLOW i don't have COD4, but can you use the ip address? Maybe google if there's away to use +connect for the COD4 icons.

You've got a few options on how to connect to our servers, such as;
1)Input the server IP into your favorites list, in-game. Ensure your filters are configured to show everything.

2)Connect VIA in-game console. First, enable the console in the options menu (Options -> Game options -> Enable console YES)
press '~' (top left of keyboard) and type connect 68.168.212.218 ( defaul ports are not required).



3)Dupe your multiplayer icon on your desktop, right click it and go to properties
Under the shortcut tab, in the target box, it should show "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe"
With quotes.

Now, to make a shortcut to the server just add +connect 68.168.212.221:28960, so it should now be;
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +connect 68.168.212.221:28960

my desktop shortcut is this;
"C:\Games\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +connect 68.168.212.218:28960

If hes trying to create shortcuts he can just change the target line (or more specifically add to it) +connect IP:PORT

What I don't understand is why they are not listed on the game server list when you search on the game?

Ptobably something to do with COD4s master list at a guess, dyn would know more

Servers are listed, but they have no vogon tag in the name. Just use /connect ip and you will be able to join eventually, since servers are full most of the time.
