You can download Q3 .pak files from loads of places, you should be able to find it on any P2P or torrent site. I know its available on Ares right now coz I just had a look. If you need the link to get Ares PM me, I won't post it here.

Any P2P client/app carries the risk of virus spreading but if you are sensible, and have a semi-decent level of protection, you should be ok. I've used Ares for years, and apart from the odd download not being what it said it was, I've had no problems.

I am not "the new admin" no, I'm one of a few, click the "the team" link at the bottom of the main page if you want to see who's who.

XtremKiller for a very good antivirus try nod32 at http://www.eset.com its free for a month then after that just keep downloading once a month

For Q3 you basically need main pak0.pk3 file:

Then you need 1.32 point release which will install pak 1-8:

And that's all. Point release is 1.32b, you may want to get 1.32c, it adds no pak files, but it fixes one security issue.
