i don't understand what you're asking. you know as well as anyone else that divinity is constantly wasting time trying to get back on the server — occasionally he succeeds, eventually we catch him.

and yes, it would help to know the name he was playing under.

Not normally a visible admin around...lol.... and he was on again last night as divinity

ive been working quite a bit.. i keep an eye on things after 12 most of the time. holiday season is killer when you cook for a living.

night admin? you know there aren't shifts. whoever has the time to get on does. it's not like a huge amount of traffic, plus it's the holidays.

that guy has spent years trying over and over to connect to the servers. he doesn't have anything better to do right now (spend time with family, friends, girlfriends, party, socialize with human beings) than sit in front of his computer attempting connections to video game servers.

he manages to sneak in sometimes and then gets banned. nothing has changed.

if someone sees him on, just leave a post with his player name. there's no reason to bother talking to him. he's got nothing new to say.

The problem here is that people have other things to do, admins can't be on servers 24/7. It's more helpful/constructive to post a demo or at least the name of the person you suspect of cheating.

are you aware you are in a thread for quake 3 cheaters?

the server has an autokick feature but because it does not have punkbuster enabled swarms of foreign aimbot kids get in. admins cannot be on 24/7 and autokick cannot take care of all the botters.

due to to the fact the server supports so many people and gameplay is fast and arcade like, botters are drawn to the server.

Please, dont ban to Cris, she dont play with cheats.

theres no lock-on or tracking thru walls, in fact his accuracy isnt even that stellar. im surprised to see trip in there, havent seen him in awhile. so many old names poppin in

I watched him a bit yesterday as well. It is true his aim isn't that great but he does use the splash rail. Say what you want about the pass-through rail, but you have to actually hit your target to use it. He is "snappy" though.

However that isn't to say he can't be using the hybrid aimbot, which DOES snap to the target, but doesn't keep it there. I'm not saying he is, but some players are really fast at getting to the target but miss somehow.

Anyways, the reason I discounted him in this is because I'm quite snappy too, so I'm not about to point fingers unless it is beyond a doubt that a player is using an aimbot.

I haven't watched deans demo yet but I wanted to respond to chaos. Many a time (too many to count by now) we've seen the "I suspect that XXX is up to something..." immediately followed by XXXs gaming companions with "No way not him, he wouldn't" or something similar. I'm NOT saying the dude IS up to anything, like I said, I haven't even watched the demo yet but "trust" isn't always deserved in some players. But rest assured, as Trip said earlier, nothing will happen without something concrete. Jus' sayin'.

well, i have spec'ed him before. i have not noticed anything in game such as tracking me through walls, predicting my location. nothing seems unnatural. if im warmed up i can out rail him 90% of the time with or without pass-thru. the only thing in the video is a bunch of horizontal flick rails against ms. gauntlet and a player that doesnt move around. i dont really even know the dude enough to trust him, i simply do not see any sort of cheating.

have played skinner plenty. he seems to have strong levels and not-so-strong levels. seems to me a bot user would have no not-so-strong levels.
