Very cool.
Whenever you die, you lose a frag. It totally changes the nature of the game. If you want to keep your score up, you'll have to have a tighter defensive game.

i might as well be playing the game off cdrom.
"very slow" would be a better way to describe it.

can we get an ETA on when these settings will revert to "anarchy" speed? that way, i know how long to do something else.

I don't mean the lack of the vogon mod... (I prefer it too, after all ) mostly just the way you lose frags when you die.

original vogon mod is the best of course, but that aside these settings are very elegant. The perfect blend of default feel and mod fun. Brings me back to the fun days of hunting for health and armor as well as having to remember patterns and spawn times for the next item

Shouldn't be permanent, but like Gumby said elegant blend. Really nice intermittently! Nice blend of speed and power ups!

Loving it right now! For whatever reason rail feels more precise!

Thanks! I was experimenting with item-based gameplay, combined with our mod. -1 on death can be fun mode to play, you need to be careful, but at same time you can reduce score of others when you attack, so it's up to you to balance attack and defense in the right way. This mode feels best with less than 10 players, while normal mode we use is best with 10+ i would say.

I played on Anarchy a few minutes ago and I really liked the new feel of Vogon.
I found hard to keep up with the score though, but that´s funny.

You are misunderstanding what I was talking about. I was saying to set it back to excessive, its to slow. I'm not new here I like it fast. but i've noticed that some people have been abusing there privliges as admins or something. But anyway have a good one.

BLOW in all honesty it seems that us as admins have been the least involved at least as in enforcing much. We haven't had as high number of cheaters to purge or squabbles to remedy.

It seems to be the smoothest things have ran. Servers are getting more players, admins are still watching for cheats, and everyone seems to be enjoying Vogon.

What are these abuses you have noticed? The change in the server was done by Dyn, btw.

Haven't played much lately due to work project. I've been searching for a time to get online and bust some frags. When I finally got a chance to play, I lost my frag-boner in the first minute with these new settings. Frankly, I never got fired up about playing the game in the original type of mode.

Normal excessive speed is my Viagra. C'mon Dyn, I haven't had some good booty in a while here man!!! Help a brother out!!! LOL!!!
