Why is my pc is picky on linux??

i have been trying to find the perfect Distro for example Ubuntu works great with my pc but all others dont. :( Ive tried Suse 11.1
and Mandriva 2010 also Debian. And i thought by now it supports all systems to date when i dl the O/S

the ones i mentioned dont like my pc cept Ubuntu.. i dont know why it doesnt like any others :(

my system specs

AMD Athlon X2 AM2 64 2.6ghz

DDR 2GB Dual channle 667mhz

Geforce 9800GT

MSI 690V / K9AGM2-F / L Motherboard

200GB HDD SATA

not all distributions contain the same drivers. some, like debian, could be due to restricted policies. in most cases, you can still separately download what you need.

i am with ag try getting the most complete driver package. that is probably your problem. I used redhat before when i used linux never had a problem. but redhat is not free.

Linux mint is a good OS for people who are switching from windows since it has a start menu and a similar layout... plus it's from the same people who created Ubuntu so the drivers shouldn't be a problem. I've tried all of the distros and ubuntu and mint are the best. I LOVE LINUX!
