VOGON mod download - May 25th

Yes, finally i took time and ported it to ioquake3 (80% done) and it will soon be available for download, so you can either play with it locally (against bots or on LAN), or run your own VOGON-like server. I will also add few sample configs for quick start, description of all commands and info how to run dedicated servers. Porting it to ioquake3 means it runs on most recent Q3 code, with all old bugs from original Q3 fixed. There are also few other fixes which are not considered real bugs, but i added them anyway, on top of ioquake3 code.

Of course i will also offer full source code for all interested, so you can compile it for any system you want or just peek inside. :)

Right now i am @ 80%, still need to port and improve/clean few things. After this is done i will test all commands and different setups, then new code will run on our Q3 servers. After that, if everything is solid, it will be available for public download. Well, mod is solid as it is, but we should test it a bit more with new code, just in case.

100% done! I need to change/add few cvars, but right now it's same as on servers, ported to latest ioquake3. :)

Today i added 50+ new CVARS ( CVAR = ConVar = Console Variable ) for weapon settings and smart map cycler. It doesn't affect game speed or stability. Some old cvars are renamed, 2 deleted. Test version should be on servers tomorrow and public release shortly after that. This is to ensure everything is smooth, without the need for endless beta testing.

-_-!!! OMG D:! This is what I wanted for a long time eh and it is no competition to make the server Vogon. If they had released this mod to time (as they always told me and will be released) had never used that aimbot and I never wanted to use it on the same server, just wanted to use it for myself and do tests and if I found some other aver trick or strategy! shame that things happened so ... x( x/!!!!!!!

Lolz. Hear that, Dyn? If you'd have given Vandy the VOGON source code sooner, he wouldn't have been forced to cheat online; he could have done it all by his lonesome, where winning doesn't really matter anyway.

Would LOVE to run this. VOGON really is the best Q3 mod evar.

Hehe, well cheating is not cool, no matter what excuse you may have later. If winning matters to you then it's illogical to cheat, because you don't win by your own skill.
