Mod changes 20080522
- /tell is also available as /t
- /tell or /t will list all clients with client numbers used for tell command

- /tell to other teams/spectators in TDM/CTF is not possible
- improved: LG precision, Rail/LG trace, Rail distance, last used weapon for item-based games
- better air control with quadfly and joust settings (rarely used, but anyway)
- added 10+ commands for admins, so they can lock teams and set other stuff with ease

Tell sends message to only one player at time. You can see list of all possible recipients by issuing /t or /tell command and then use /t <clientnum> message, like this:

- if player has Flight+Quad when fragged, drop Quad and Regen
- you get all bonus powerups, with Regen + ammo, when you frag someone with bonus powerups
- bonus powerups changed a bit, more Haste and Quad, less Regen (still droppable)
- each frag extends Flight for 666 ms, when bonus powerups are active
- can't get more bonus when first is effective (prevents Flight+Quad camping)
- you are reading my evil mod notes, we will rule the world
- few micro improvements around weapon precision

- sticky grenades are shootable now ( with direct hit or splash damage )
- vg_hookTime (ms) sets grappling hook time, works for both types with one setting, after it expires hook is released ( 0 = unlimited, min time is 500 ms)
- Teleport explode after flight reward improved a bit
- vg_muteLite -- like mute but just for intermission and first 20 sec of each map, saying "gg" is possible
- bonus powerups are dropped when carrier is fragged
- Flight + Quad at once reset Battlesuit and Invis to 0, but not Regen anymore
- superWeapons completely removed
- Rail can frag 8 players in a row (old was 4)
- Rail damage 1600 -> 2000, not really needed for normal play
- RealRail improved - stops at nothing, not even doors and buttons, only hits players
- Rail precision (enemy detection) improved
- splash damage for Rail explosion ~10% more, with ~10% less radius
- hook damage 300 -> 500, damage time 50 -> 40
- Lightning Gun (LG) precision (enemy detection) improved
- ...plus few speed optimizations and cleanups

Is vg_hookTime set to 0 as default for CTF?

Sticky grenades are now shootable - does that mean there is only a need to press one button instead of 2 simultaneously?

Sorry I'm asking as I haven't been on the CTF server this evening yet.

Grenades on the floor are shootable. +button6 is needed to fire sticky, it works like alternate fire button and it's used for Rail as well.

vg_hookTime is good to prevent campers with hook and can allow us to use offhand hook on FFA as well. I am not sure on CTF you want it, but you can test it. Mod is not active yet, i am optimizing few things, and i am not working on it 100% of time since i need to answer here and emails.

Oh I thought it was for all servers - that's why I asked for the default of 0. If CTF doesn't have to have it then I think it would be best not to - hanging and camping your base (at least until you get killed heheh) is definitely part of the accepted 'norm'.

So you defend campers! Fine. Just fine.

I think reward points when set to high enough is not so common and when player with powerups is killed, powerups should be dropped. In case you want game without powerups then reward points can be set to 0 as well. What do you think?
