COD4 servers info/updates

it failed down for 5 minutes, just before black out, it was typed 'your script are too high' or something like that..

I know this, it happens with COD4 but very rarely with 48 players. DOM is using updated system's .so/libraries from yesterday on, not the ones which game provides. There is some very remote chance this may be the cause, but at the same time server was running with 48 players almost all day long. It happens a lot of you increase it to 55-64. Max we tested successfully was 62, and it was crash every 5-10 min.

In case of crash server restores itself after a few min.

that could be the problem, ares victim of its success!! you should find sponsors like 'apple' or 'microsoft'...think they would donate !!

Ah well, not many companies care about older games. A lot of times even developers abandon them.

I will improve few things on server, so it should be more robust.

Perhaps some players would like to join a clan? I just don't have time for it, so this largely depends on other people and admins.

1)I was thinking...why ares and especially domination is the only server to be full every day? i mean, it draws few hundred players everyday...some advertisers should be have a look about that. Even if it's an old game, it keeps on going on and quite well.
2) I've heard some players are interested with clan. We could dig this idea, perhaps a good deal would be to create a new topic?

Ares total domination is down again....tdm is ok...since Ares moved up to "germany", it seems that it often fails down...not sure it's good, meanwhile gamers join and connect into 'fake' server using the same name.
